Beer and Burger Joint
1766 Bay Road
Miami Beach, FL 33139
(305) 672-3287
Beer and Burger Joint: A simple name for a place that takes burgers to another level. Listing every burger topping from goat cheese, spicy garlic mayo and truffle oil to guacamole, fried eggs and lobster tails, this is gourmet burgers gone wild. Customize your burger and choose from free-range beef, Kobe or turkey meat, and a slew of cheeses, buns and toppings to satiate your meaty craving. Add on some duck fat fries, zucchini fries or home-style potato salad if you haven't had enough variety. If you are feeling brave, take on the Mother Burger: a ten-pound Angus beef monster resting on a four-pound bun covered in countless slices of cheese and toppings. Starting at $75, if you finish it within two hours, it's on the house! If you need some serious lounge time after your fierce grub session, enter the sports bar which boasts 10 flat screen TVs, $5 beers and $8 cocktails.
Bardot
3456 North Miami AvE
Miami, FL 33127
(305) 576-5570
Just like Brigitte, for which it is named after, Bardot is sexy, mysterious and a neighborhood hot spot that is growing fast. Tucked away in the Midtown Design District, the entrance is just as hard to find as the club itself (there is a side entrance which serves as the main entrance). But once you are in, you feel strangely right at home. Decor-wise, if a Berlin Cabaret fucked a 60's rock bar, Bardot would be their love child. Live music is the focal point of this speakeasy locale, with local talent frequenting the stage almost every night. The place is small, so try coming during the week when it is not as crowded. Drinks are SoBe prices so keep tabs on your bar tab amount. It adds up quickly!
